Today at our Grade School we had a student with a health emergency. We had multiple first responders on campus. We initiated a HOLD per our SRP protocols. A HOLD has students stay in place in their classrooms to minimize traffic in the halls and to preserve confidentiality. We appreciate very much the response we received from first responders and appreciate their professionalism. We also recognize the stress that these situations have on our students and their families.

We have been in a Hold today due to a student health issue. Students were safe and the event was isolated. A Hold has students remain in classrooms with business continuing as usual. We appreciated your patience.
All holds are lifted and emergency services have left the area.

Highway 38 at milepost 45 continues to be closed. Busses will route through Sutherlin to return students east of the tunnel. Students along this route will be late returning to their p.m. bus stop.
