This week the Elkton Charter School will celebrate the Virtue of Tolerance “Accepting and respecting the differences in others to build kind, inclusive, and resilient people. Involves treating others with dignity, understanding that people can have differences that should be encouraging and not feared.”
Come and root on our Elks as they compete this Saturday at Cottage Grove High School. They will take on Crow in the OSAA 1A 6 Man State Championship Semifinals.

This team has worked hard this season, both on and off the field. They were undefeated in league play and were the Skyline League Champions, also earning the Sportsmanship Award and Coach of the Year went to our Jeremy Lockhart. This team also earned the All-Team Academic Award from OSAA.

Crow has packed the stands for their last two playoff games. Let's show our Elkton pride and do the same at the game this Saturday!

Our local fire departments are in need of brave men and women interested in volunteering. Use the QR code or call 541-836-2282 to learn more.

If you are interested in taking an EMT class in North Douglas, saving a trip to Roseburg or Eugene, and you are 18 and above, you can get started by registering now. Email austin.kenneday@umpqua.edu. Classes start January 5th, are held Monday and Thursdays from 5 pm - 9 pm. Class size is limited and registration is open now.
